E.I.S. Equipment & Resources

all the boards

E.I.S. has a number of items for use by club members, which may be borrowed or hired, including snowboards and ski boxes. The club also has an equipment room / workshop, which is equipped (to a limited extent) with a workbench and tools for servicing skis and snowboards (out of action at the moment!).

If you would like rent equipment or use the club room, contact Anthony Crowson, 06151-8257114 or 0177-737-5266. All items listed cost € 5 per week (Wednesday-Tuesday). There is some assorted other stuff including snow chains which can be borrowed - see the inventory.

Items for hire:

Hiring conditions

  • Equipment is hired out on a per-week basis, with the week running from Wednesday to the following Tuesday. If you hire equipment for two weekends, that counts as two weeks.
  • When you hire equipment, you are responsible for looking after it and ensuring it is returned in good condition. The club has no insurance against theft! Please take special care of the snowboards, as these are very attactive items to the light-fingered.
Note: If you hire a snowboard, we really recommend you pick up the board a day or two before you travel, and adjust the bindings. This will save you time when you actually arrive at the resort.
